Inspiration
As college freshman, we all agreed that controlling and managing our money was really difficult, wasting money on all sorts of things.
What it does
It is a personal budgeting application that allows the user to keep the application updated with their daily purchases and allows them to visualize and structure spending habits.
How we built it
We built this application using a simple web development framework. We used HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Python for some of the functions.
Challenges we ran into
- Implementing OpenAI as a part of the advice section
- We didn't know JavaScript enough to understand all the little thing that we were doing wrong but this can be exemplified through our advice box jumping too the top of the screen every time we use it :'(
- Adjusting to work as a team instead of individually.
- Coding our graph in python and having to spend hours on that only to scrap it and make a worse on on java script.
