Inspiration

Our major inspiration was saving lives. Statistics show that many people don't know how to perform the Heimlich maneuver. Consequentially, a person dies every 2 hours from choking. During the duration of the Hackathon alone, 12 people have died from choking.

What it does

Teaches users how to perform the Heimlich maneuver in a rhythm game. The game informs users of the reality of choking deaths with statistics.

How we built it

Made a list of all objectives, divide task evenly, develop application, and performed usability test. We had a shared document with everyone's task written out and where we all sourced our information and ideas.

Challenges we ran into

Team member left early on and learning how Unity works for game development.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Trying out a new tech stack, delivering a fully functional product, and efficient and productive teamwork. Team members were constantly being productive at all times, with at least one member working at any given time.

What we learned

Teamwork is essential, good communication, strong game design foundation, having a clear technical and design requirement.
