An example of the testing centers that are local being printed out for users.
Inspiration
Inspiration was many people aren't able to find a testing center near them to get tested for COVID-19.
What it does
It allows users to find testing center locations based on state, city, or zip code. It also has the feature of allowing people to add new testing centers. All information is available for each center when it is printed for a user.
How I built it
It was built by using python, databases, pandas, and HTML. It was also made by using a variety of different files to keep it organized.
Challenges I ran into
Challenges were getting the right information to print out and also getting it to print in a readable way. Also, getting the information from the database to be able to be taken and printed out.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Accomplishments were making a Covid-19 api where it can help people find testing centers to get tested. Also, having a great mentor that helped us fix the challenges throughout the project.
What I learned
We all learned how to use python to build a simple API and how syntax in python is very important. Also, learned how to even build an API.
What's next for Helloo COVID World
What is next is to add more testing centers across the US for people to be able to find them without having to travel far from their home or not get tested at all.
