This is a simple Forge app integrated into Jira as an admin page. It displays a “Hello world!” message using Atlassian’s UI Kit and Forge framework. This is ideal for newcomers exploring Forge app development.

What I learned from using Forge: I learned how to set up the Forge CLI, use the manifest.yml configuration, deploy to development environments, and install the app directly into my Jira instance. I also gained hands-on experience with how Forge apps integrate directly into Atlassian products.

What I'm excited to build with Forge next: I’m excited to explore more advanced apps such as dashboard gadgets and issue panel apps using Custom UI. I’m particularly interested in using Forge to automate Jira workflows and create tools that enhance productivity for teams.
