Inspiration
This project is a simple Forge-powered Jira app that adds a custom issue panel displaying a "Hello world!" message along with data retrieved from a backend resolver function.
What it does
It demonstrates how to use Atlassian Forge to create UI extensions inside Jira, making it a great starting point for new developers exploring Forge app development.

What we learned
I learned how to set up an Atlassian Forge app from scratch, create a custom Jira issue panel, deploy the app, and connect frontend UI components with backend logic using Forge APIs. This project gave us hands-on experience with Forge CLI, manifest configuration, and Jira app integration.
What's next for Hello-wrold jira project
Next, I plan to enhance the app by adding dynamic issue data, interactive elements like buttons, and possibly integrating Jira API calls for real-time updates. This will make the app more useful and showcase deeper Forge capabilities.
