Inspiration
I had heard of Ruby before but not used it. I decided to use Ruby for the "Hello, world" challenge because Ruby came up in conversation recently and I had been impressed by the elegant language style.
What it does
I used a print command to say "Hello, world"
How we built it
I ran the command in the https://try.ruby-lang.org/ editor.
Challenges we ran into
I found that I could not simply remove x.times do. The print command appears to want something prefixing print.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I managed to get the single output of "Hello, world" I wanted.
What we learned
I learned that Ruby has a neat way for repeating strings, should I want to use a repeat.
What's next for Hello, World in a New Language
I will consider using Ruby in a future project, and learn some fundamentals of the language properly.
