Our inspiration stemmed from the desire to integrate cutting-edge technology with everyday culinary experiences. We recognized that meal preparation is not just about the food but also about the emotions, health concerns, and personal preferences of individuals. Our aim was to create a versatile, user-friendly solution that caters to these diverse needs, making cooking an enjoyable and personalized experience for Hello Fresh customers.

What it does

Our multi-feature solution revolutionizes the Hello Fresh experience. It includes:

1- Chat Feature: Users can chat to generate recipes based on their selected ingredients. 2- Audio Analysis: The system detects emotions through voice and suggests recipes accordingly. 3- Camera Mode: Captures the user's emotions through a photo and proposes recipes that resonate with their current mood. 4- Fridge Inventory: Users upload a photo of their fridge, and the system identifies the ingredients, helping to suggest recipes based on available items. It also advises on what's missing for a chosen recipe. 5- Persona Customization: Each user can set up multiple personas, tailoring suggestions to allergies, dietary restrictions, and mood preferences.

How we built it

We utilized a blend of OpenAI models and local AI algorithms. The chat and audio features are powered by advanced NLP and voice recognition technologies. The camera mode employs image processing and emotion recognition algorithms. For the fridge inventory, we integrated image recognition technology to identify and catalog ingredients. The entire system is designed with a user-centric approach, ensuring ease of use and a seamless integration into the Hello Fresh platform.
