About the Project

This project was inspired by the desire to create a personalized and dynamic experience within Atlassian Confluence. I wanted to explore how Forge apps can interact with the Confluence environment to deliver custom content personalized for each user.

Throughout this project, I learned how to use Forge’s react based UI kit, how to use backend functions from the frontend, and how to work with Atlassian APIs securely using permission scopes.

I built the app by combining frontend React components with backend resolvers, integrating user context data such as account information and the current theme. One of the key challenges was handling API permissions correctly to fetch user details while maintaining a smooth user experience.

Overall, this project helped me gain practical experience with Atlassian Forge development and deepen my understanding of building cloud-connected apps.
