Inspiration

Managing personal health can be overwhelming, with scattered information, missed medications, and a lack of instant, personalized advice. We wanted to create a smart solution that empowers users to make better health decisions effortlessly.

What it does

Helix is an AI-powered health platform that provides personalized health insights based on user input. It helps users manage medications by scanning prescriptions and setting reminders, analyzes symptoms to offer potential causes and recommendations, and delivers tailored wellness advice to improve overall health.

How we built it

Helix was developed using a combination of React for the frontend and Express for the backend. We integrated Anthropic Sonnet 3.5 model for symptom analysis and health insights and prescription scanning. Notifications and scheduling features were implemented using the ICS protocol

We were having issues integrating google authentication via passportjs

What's next for Helix AI

We plan to enhance Helix with real-time doctor consultations, deeper health tracking integrations, and expanded AI capabilities for more accurate diagnostics. Our goal is to make Helix the go-to platform for proactive health management.
