Inspiration The old floppy bird game I have played
What it does The user control the helicopter by using the mouse and keyboard, to avoid the obstacles and eat stars.
How we built it We create a template first and then start coding
Challenges we ran into We can't connect the mouse and keyboard to the game at first, we try to search on the web but can't find anything. We asked one of my friends who has game programming experience and finally find out that there are some problem with the I/O system we defined in our code.
Accomplishments that we're proud of This is the first time we build such a large program using Python, it feels very accomplished when the game is finally running
What we learned We have to make a good plan before start coding it. We make our plan at first but soon find out that there are some flaws in our original plan. Some part is confilcting with each other
What's next for Helicopter game Make the game much more fancy, adding more feathers to the game
