Inspiration

Our team was passionate in creating a learning platform. We also enjoy playing video games so we thought integrating both into a heist theme would be a fun project.

What it does

Out project is a gamified learning platform for k-12 students. The idea was to create a platform where students can learn to code in python through a fun, more engaging environment.

How we built it

Our tech stack consisted of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js. We used agents such as Claude AI and Google Gemini to assist in creating the project.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the challenges we ran into were merge conflicts and logic bugs as well as learning syntax of some of the materials used.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of our amazing UI and our heist themed integration into our platform.

What we learned

We learned a lot about front end development as well as working together in a collaborative environment.

What's next for Heist-School

We intend to add more worlds (learning topics) and levels (gamified learning pages).
