Hi!

I'm a Grade 11 student from Vietnam, and I spend a lot of time in my school's computer lab. Besides the regular assignments, I usually end up experimenting with my own projects.

One thing kept bothering me: moving files, screenshots, and code between my phone and the school computers was always more complicated than it should be. USB drives weren't always convenient, and many existing tools relied on long links or too many steps.

So I built Hefimer.

It started as a simple way to transfer files using short five-digit room codes instead of long sharing links. As I kept using it myself, I continued adding features that solved problems I ran into every day, including text and code sharing, chat rooms, and a collaborative whiteboard.

For this hackathon, I wanted to make the experience even smoother, so I built Hefimer Link. Devices can now be paired once using a pairing token or a QR code. After enabling Always Approve, every file sent from one trusted device is automatically downloaded on every paired device that's online and running Hefimer.

Building Hefimer taught me that good products don't always begin with a huge idea. Sometimes they simply begin with a small frustration that keeps happening every day.

I hope to keep improving Hefimer until sharing between devices feels so natural that people don't even have to think about it anymore.
