Inspiration:
A professor at UNM needed an app to help speed up foot injury treatment, analysis, and process.
What it does:
Analyzes a picture of foot wounds to estimate the time required for healing.
How we built it:
Image analysis and mathematical modeling using Java and Android studio.
Challenges I ran into:
Learning about different foot injuries and healing characteristics.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of:
Learning a new application for image detection and mathematical modeling.
What I learned:
How different wounds can be estimated and how everyone heals differently.
What's next for HeelHeal:
Possible business with associate professor and his research.to develop the app more.
