Inspiration
Defi Products are hard to use for everyday people, even for experienced users. We have been trying to onboard friends to Bitcoin Defi for over two years. We found out that we have to explain complex concepts and help them manage wallets consistently. We became personal gas stations for our friends.
For the past few months, I have been keeping track of my loan on the Sovryn Zero Protocol. However, using the Zero protocol has been quite stressful for me. Despite monitoring it on a daily basis and custom alerting, a portion of my BTC collateral was redeemed during the recent BTC price crash, when it dropped to 26K. As an experienced user of defi (3 years), it was very frustrating for me. Redemption is not an isolated incident, as many other users of the Sovryn protocol experienced the same issue. Our goal was to create a seamless user experience for those who use the defi protocol on Bitcoin.
What it does
- Opening smart contract based account without paying gas fee
- transfer with DLLR without paying gas fee
How we built it
The account contracts are written in solidity and deployed to rootstock testnet. The frontend are written in javascript with React library.
