Inspiration

The 2003 Paris heatwave killed 15,000 people in two weeks. Most were elderly, living alone, with no warning system. That single event inspired us to ask — what if AI could have predicted who was at risk before it was too late?

Problem

Generic heat warnings treat everyone the same. But a 70-year-old diabetic in 38°C heat faces a completely different risk than a healthy 25-year-old. There's no tool that gives you a personal risk assessment based on who you actually are.

Solution

HeatSafe AI combines your age, health conditions, and real-time weather data — temperature, humidity, UV index — to calculate your individual heatstroke risk score. It then uses AI to give you personalized safety advice, shows nearby cooling spots on a map, and provides an emergency protocol if things go wrong.
