Inspiration

Climate change is the term that has been mentioned a lot recently. Because of climate change, warmer temperatures over time are changing weather patterns and disrupting the usual balance of nature. This poses many risks to human beings and all other forms of life on Earth. The causes for climate change are because of pollution, carbon emission, green house gas emission, etc.

With the thought to reduce the amount of carbon and green house gas emission to save the earth, we would like to help Heat Smart Alliance to reach to more people and speed up their work through developing technology aided coaching, digitalization of existing customer journey, and expand the reach to more MA communities.

What it does

We have a chatbot that works as a coach and automatically provide needed information to the customer. The chatbot can hear humans' voice and answer back in text.
We have a carbon footprint calculator that educate people about how much carbon they can create
We built a simple portal to capture clients' information

How we built it

We built our chat bot in Google Cloud and use Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing to train it.
We built the form and our site using Javascript, HTML, CSS

Challenges we ran into

Our team members are in different time zones so it was hard to collaborate the time and work together
We had to come up with ideas and different functions that we want to build and present
One of our member is sick but tried hard to pull it through to deliver the project

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are able to finish the project and deliver the final product and presentation
Our sick member (Darshan) worked hard and contributed a lot to the project as well
