Inspiration
I thought it was a challenging problem; I was interested in attempting the p4labs challenge which brought me and my team to this project
What it does
Measures heat/temperature then visualized the flow of heat and temperature in the room.
How I built it
C++, Python, Arduino with the 3D environment provided by p4labs
Challenges I ran into
A lot of debugging, problem-solving, applying my own knowledge to create the simulation, and visualization using matplotlib.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We managed to get it working in the end, and the simulation is absolutely beautiful. We came up with a way to calibrate our Arduino robot to effectively measure the heat parcels on the plate.
What I learned
A bunch of heat transfer equations as well as c++ and python knowledge.
What's next for Heat mapping and dynamic heat distribution visualization
We will try to make it as cutting-edge as possible; meaning using Navier-Stokes equations, adding convection along with that.
