Inspiration

The reason why I created this was because 40 million people in the USA face food insecurity alone, so I thought about how many people might face food insecurity in third world countries.

What it does

It helps people with food insecurity communicate with farmers.

How I built it

I built it using HTML, CSS and Google Maps API.

Challenges I ran into

I wanted to create a website with a log-in so that people would be able to create an account and do all of this but I wasn't able too.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud of creating this idea and following through.

What I learned

I learned that so many people face this problem, and that there are a lot of issues that a lot of people face.

What's next for Heartland Resources

I want to come in contact with farmers and people with food insecurity so that this website can actually help people.
