posted an update —

A small detail -

I wanted the animations to feel like "a hand on the shoulder: present, brief, warm," so the whole motion system is tuned around that idea:

css @keyframes hearthly-rise-in { from { opacity: 0; transform: translateY(8px); } to { opacity: 1; transform: translateY(0); } } .hearthly-rise-in { animation: hearthly-rise-in 0.45s cubic-bezier(0.22, 0.61, 0.36, 1) both; }

@media (prefers-reduced-motion: reduce) { .hearthly-rise-in { animation: none !important; } }

Everything that moves respects the system reduced-motion setting, and I removed one drifting background effect because it hurt performance on mid-range Android phones.

Built with: RevenueCat handles subscriptions. The whole interface is set in Lora, a serif, which is an unusual choice for a health app and gives it a human feel.

What's next: iOS launch, and more of what caregivers tell me they need.

If you're caring for someone right now, I'd love to hear what would make your days a little lighter. Thanks for following along.
