Inspiration

Breakups can feel like the end of the world — we all deserve a safe, fun, and comforting space to heal emotionally. We noticed a lack of emotionally intelligent, interactive healing platforms that blend creativity, play, and real emotional support. That’s what inspired us to create HeartFix AI 💔 — your personal AI-powered breakup recovery buddy.

What it does

HeartFix AI is a pastel-themed, emotion-aware web app designed to help users recover after heartbreak through:

• ✨ Personalized Dashboard: Mood-based themes, journaling, animated video comfort, and affirmations
  
• 🎮 Playroom with 9 interactive healing games: Tarot Reading, Hug Attack, Life Fact Cards, Music Vibe Player, Cry & Smash, and more
  
• 🎵 Music Room: Choose your vibe (Sad Girl Hours, Chill Beats, Baddie Bounce) and play mood-based tracks
  
• 🎨 Emotional tools like Gratitude Garden, Art Studio, and Confidence Challenges (coming soon!)
  
• 💌 Custom themes: Baddie, Saddie, Chillie, Lovely — that update the entire site’s look and feel
  
• 📩 Login system that saves your journey and mood selections
  
• 🌸 Designed to feel like a warm, soft hug from an AI friend

How we built it

• Built fully using Bolt.new for front-end and interactivity
  
• Used localStorage to save user info and selected themes
  
• Designed multiple global themes and applied them site-wide
  
• Used Tavus AI video for animated comfort segment
  
• Created 9 unique interactive game cards with animations, sound, and emotional design
  
• Ensured mobile responsiveness across all pages
  
• “Built with Bolt” badge added as required

Challenges we ran into

• Handling daily token limits and long deployment queues on Bolt.new
  
• Making 9 different game cards interactive, smooth, and mobile-friendly
  
• Ensuring theme persistence across all routes and components
  
• Creating vibe-based music player with real audio vs generated tones
  
• Balancing serious emotional support with light-hearted, playful design.
