Heartbeat of Earth

Inspiration

Heartbeat of Earth was inspired by Seyran’s original composition — a piece that immediately evoked images of both beauty and destruction. The music made me feel the pulse of the planet itself, and I wanted to create a visual story showing how fragile that heartbeat has become.

What it does

My goal was to contrast nature’s breathtaking elegance with the harsh consequences of human impact: polluted rivers, burning forests, suffering ecosystems, and disappearing wildlife.

How we built it

Seyran has composed and performed the music. The entire video was created using AI tools. The close footage of Seyran's hands playing the piano was real, but redesigned in AI to match the light and environment. I generated and animated every scene to build a narrative that moves between harmony and devastation. The workflow included image generation, motion design, detailed refinement, and final assembly in editing software. Each transition and color choice was crafted to emphasize the emotional shift from beauty to vulnerability.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenges were maintaining visual consistency across AI-generated environments, creating believable natural motion, and designing scenes that balanced realism with artistic expression. Another major challenge was portraying environmental damage without overwhelming the viewer, keeping the story emotional yet respectful. Despite these hurdles, Heartbeat of Earth became one of our most meaningful and impactful projects.

Strong story and inspirational message about saving our Planet, realistic piano playing, consistency of the main character (Seyran himself).

What we learned

This project taught us how deeply music and visuals can reinforce each other without a single word. We learned to use AI not just as a tool, but as a medium for environmental storytelling — shaping atmosphere, emotion, and symbolism through careful direction. It also strengthened our understanding of pacing and thematic contrast: how beauty becomes more powerful when shown alongside its fragility.
