Working of the Website
Inspiration
Strokes are a leading cause of death and disability worldwide. Unfortunately, many people are not aware of the warning signs of a stroke or don't know what to do if they or someone they know is experiencing symptoms. By creating a website dedicated to heart stroke detection, the aim is to increase public awareness about the signs of a stroke and provide resources to help people take action quickly in case of an emergency. This can ultimately help save lives and improve health outcomes for those affected by stroke.
What it does
The Website takes in inputs and checks the probability of getting a stroke using a trained ML model/
How we built it
To build it, Firstly I found a relevant dataset and preprocessed it, then I ran 3 ML classifiers. Lastly, made a website using flask to make it user-friendly and available to the public.
Challenges we ran into
The dataset finding and preprocessing was challenging.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
0.96 Accuracy Achieved after hyperparameter tuning.
