I was looking for a problem that I could help to solve like an engineer. Then I was stunned by knowing that According to WHO heart disease is the number one cause of death in the world. That's why I thought that would be something I can work on in the hackathon.

What it does

It detects if a person has diabetes or not.

How we built it

I have built it using python while implementing 3 algorithms, KNeighborsClassifier, DecisionTreeClassifier, and the RandomForestClassifier.

Challenges we ran into

I struggled to find an accurate data set for the project but with the help of a mentor, I was able to figure it out.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I have learned to work alone better and how to be more reliable to myself with my abilities with ML & DL technologies. Some new things I have experimented including the RandomForest classifier and cross-validation, and most important I have gained experience through talking to lots of developer mind smart people.

I have learned to use classifiers in different ways to find accurate and reliable results.

What's next for Heart Disease Detection App Using Machine & Deep Learning

I want to help doctors with this app to detect patients with heart disease early and give them treatment early.
