Heart disease is a broad term that describes a range of diseases of the heart and blood vessels. Heart disease is often used interchangeably with cardiovascular disease.
The disease is a leading cause of deaths worldwide and refers to disorders of the blood vessels supplying the heart and other major parts of the body. Early detection reduces suffering and prevents complications such as heart failure, stroke and kidney disease through early treatment. We created this webpage to help those who might have a heart disease.
What it does
It helps in assessing whether a person might be suffering from a heart disease based on a questionnaire and also educates the user about the the affects of COVID and ways to protect yourself from it.
How I built it
We used HTML, CSS and JS to build this webpage
Challenges I ran into
The Main challenge we ran into was user authentication and implementing the backend for the project which would cater to an individual based on their answers to the questions.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Setting up the website with a working log in and sign up page and also with a working assessment page which returns the result of whether the patient might have a heart disease.
What I learned
We should focus on the coming up with the plan and the backend of the app first and make it work before beautifying it, time management and communication among the team members.
