Inspiration

I was inspired to create this project because I saw a problem for underprivileged areas in India. Kids and people did not have access to hospitals and they couldn't access basic tests such as hearing tests.

What it does

The app uses different frequencies and different volumes to test the hearing of people through a phone.

How we built it

I built it using Dart on android studio and Flutter.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge I ran into was getting the audio to play. The documentation for the main audio package wasn't great, so I had to figure it out.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was proud of being able to create tabs in Flutter, and I was able to learn a lot more about Dart as a language, and I will use these skills in the future for better apps.

What's next for Hearing Test App

The next steps for the Hearing Test App include communicating with doctors to create a more accurate results page, and making the UI a little better.
