Due to the COVID-19 pandemic going to a medical center to do a medical check up is more dangerous than ever. Waiting in the waiting room, entering the consulting room where a lot of patients have been in it, etc.
If we can reduce the cases of vulnerable people going to them for only a medical check, we will be protecting them, cutting the possible spread of the virus and reducing the workload of professionals. So they will be able to focus on the most critical cases.
Also, not less important "A third of people in the United States between 65 and 74 years old have some degree of hearing loss " (Source: https://www.healthyhearing.com/report/52814-Hearing-loss-statistics-at-a-glance). So, keeping track and taking care of, may raise awareness around the young population to protect their ears.
What it does
This application offers a more secure option to do a hearing test and to keep track of any cases of hearing loss.
How I built it
This application is written in Python and the UI has been done with Kivy.
Challenges I ran into
The main challenge was to be able to reproduce the specific frequency and send it to a specific channel (left or right). Mainly understand the PyAudio library.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The main accomplishment is to have a working prototype of the application in 24hrs.

What's next for Hearing test
There are a lot of new ideas on what to do next, but the main ones are:
- Improve the UI Design
- Add new hearing tests
- Display results in tables and graphics
- Prediction of future hearing loss from the historic we have from the user
