For many young and healthy individuals, our doctor visits never turn up anything new. This chat bot quickly sends a health diagnosis from common symptoms for popular diseases.
What it does
Tell the chat bot your symptoms and It gives you a diagnosis along with possible treatment options.
How I built it
I built the chat bot using Node.js and the IBM Watson conversation API
Challenges I ran into
training the model to handle multiple diseases, many of which have very similar symptoms.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
very quick and fairly accurate for the limited amount of diseases the chat bot can analyze.
What I learned
I learned how to train models, natural language processing, and the IBM Bluemix platorm.
What's next for HealthyHenry
Index more diseases so this can be used reliably instead of having to overpay for a doctor visit that will tell you that you have a cold
