Inspiration
** The idea came up when my teamate told me we can design a health tracking app for users who had most of their time setting in front of screens, it was this thing really excited me and my teamate to build such a working prototype, and finally we had put the efforts to present it you! Health Track **
What it does
From taking note of wide range of health conditions to the generation of a health report of the past week of usershealth, inlcuding the suggestions regarding diets, workouts and sleeps, we designed this app to till a story of users health based on the stored records and data.
key functionalities A dashboard for showing all the records summary, including weekly summary reports, thought-ful recommendations. A download report button for downloading the Health report in a text doc. A health records tab where users can add records, edit and delete records of past. An Activity tab where users log there activities like push ups, running, walking, etc And a diet recommendation tab where users can see which diet to include, a two- three line suggestion
How we built it
We used the Kiro IDE for windows and using the Kiro AI agent through step by step prompts we were able to build it. The various phases were: Planning the ground. Installing the front-end dependencies Then back-end dependencies
Challenges we ran into
The main challenges were: integrating backend and fron-end was so much complicated The database connection setup was so complex
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The great achievement is this app itself, because i never thought we could do that much with vibe coding, but yeah that was a complete development environment. From idea to rapid prototyping this thing is awesome and senseful
What we learned
valuable project for me and teamate, we learnt a lot new tools including the vibe coding, how prompts can build u a great app, rapidly with ease
What's next for Healthy track
we are looking to integrate different health app especially android one that tracks user health activities and diets etc. that would be really a great step and we looking forward to achieve that soon
