Inspiration
We were researching critical issues plaguing farmers and saw that soil erosion was significant. As the population continues to grow, soil continues to get worse, therefore inspiring us to raise awareness and help stop it.
What it does
Informs about soil erosion through various methods with a chatbot to further inform about the issue and discussion area to discuss soil erosion
How we built it
We collaborated through pair programming and GitHub using languages such as Python, HTML, CSS, docker file, and Yaml.
Challenges we ran into
At first, we struggled with taking and deciding on ideas to execute based on the given tracks.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This is our first hackathon, so we are proud to be on track and close to finishing.
What we learned
I think we learned a lot, mostly about collaboration and the ability to learn on the fly. A lot of stuff we had not done before, so to look at a problem and try to figure out a solution rather than get hung up is important to us.
What's next for Healthy Soil, Healthy Planet.
I think what is next for us is to continue using it as a learning resource.
