The Health2Tap Project Initiative
Inspiration
The inspiration for this project comes from the hopes to assist elders, elder communities, geriatric health providers and other remote communities in need of healthcare awareness, services or processing. There is the value when reaching out to assist aging-in-place, elders living remotely, frail populations or those communities hard to reach. As a pilot, it has been a positive response for assisting elders, physically challenged and frail populations.
Phase I - The initial phase is to reach and facilitate across easily accessible endpoints such as mobile devices, conversational voice AI and reporting mechanisms. As examples, Amazon Alexa Echo systems, Samsung, Healthcare IoT devices and conversational voice AI methods.
What it does
This service provides an easier adaptation to lifestyle, convenience and accessible services,
It is useful within a home, senior care and/or rehabilitation environment. We are proud to bring the world to those that see the value of staying connected, yet may encounter physical limitations for movement.
How we built it
We built it with Alexa Voice Sevice, Alexa Voice Skills and node.js mostly. We are also integrating access to other entities of communications.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges of storyboarding, workflows and timing schedules. There were also some disappointments in training for voice recognition and crossing to VR potentially.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have a good team with good intents, desire, passion and contributing experiences.
What we learned
We learned of whom is accepting to use most likely, when and how. We need more help with marketing, business development and piloting. We had learned that not all are committed to follow-thru and execution.
What's next for Health2Tap
The next phase is to focus on aligning with grants, research initiatives, sponsors and align with biotech professionals. We are revisiting this is 2020, after identifying sources of smart revenue, funding and compliant project requests. We also need to add a few more team members.
