Inspiration

• Doctors spend almost 6 hours/day using their EHRs; 4.5 hours while with patients, about 1.5 hours after work hours.​ Our near relatives and people we know passed away because of wrong administration of medicine because of lack of emergency/medical history. We are trying to solve this problem globally to prevent potential risk of lives.

What it does

• One stop solution for your emergency health data
• Globally accessible
• Providing encrypted key to access data via authorisation
• An app, a software to be accessed by the patient and the doctor and has a view of immediate emergency data such as pharmacy bills, allergies, vitals etc
• Digitalised to keep a standardised format of emergency health information

How we built it

• RFID cards
• Using encryption/ Decryption to protect privacy
• Backed up into firebase if needed

Challenges we ran into

• Building the code from scratch where we tried using MATLAB to make it easy to integrate with existing healthcare portals such as EPIC

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Removing social, political rules and regulation to make it HIPAA compliant
• Making sure our model is easily integrated into existing healthcare systems by using MATLAB which reducing training time
• Easy accessible
• Seamless transfer of emergency health information reducing ER patient care time
• The key health information is kept up to date, accurate and handy

• Making it an advanced one stop solution for easy medical history access without the need for maintaining a single metadata base
• Easy globalisation of EHR data transmission
• Creating various forms/ designs of data carrier
