Healthify Hub

Inspiration

We were inspired by the growing need for convenient, affordable healthcare, especially in a time where accessing medical services can be challenging. Our goal was to simplify doctor-patient interactions by eliminating wait times and offering a flexible, virtual solution. The idea of giving users control over pricing and making healthcare more accessible to everyone was key to our vision.

What it does

Healthify Hub connects patients with top doctors around the world for virtual consultations. Users can book appointments, chat with doctors in real-time, and receive prescriptions without leaving their homes. The platform allows patients to set their price for services, giving them control over both their health and their budget.

How we built it

We built Healthify Hub by combining a variety of modern technologies and AI-driven solutions. For the frontend, we used Mobirise to create a responsive and user-friendly interface, while Landbot was employed to build interactive chatbot that guide users through the platform. AI was integrated to enhance the matching of patients to doctors based on preferences and medical history.

We utilized Google Forms to gather feedback and preferences from users during development. QR code generators were used to make the platform easily accessible via smartphones.Also, we learned how to use Markdown for structuring and documentation,

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we faced was our lack of experience in creating websites and using AI-driven tools. Learning to integrate AI, build responsive interfaces with Mobirise, and create a functional chatbot with Landbot was a steep learning curve for us. We also had to figure out how to effectively use Google Forms, where we created three different pages for gathering students, doctors , and registration data. Coordinating these forms and ensuring they flowed smoothly into our platform required careful planning and adjustments. Despite these obstacle we overcame them by collaborating and learning throughout the process.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re incredibly proud of building a platform that democratizes healthcare, making it more accessible to people from different economic backgrounds. We successfully integrated a flexible pricing system, and our real-time chat and video functionality worked smoothly across various devices. Most importantly, we’ve created a system that prioritizes user experience and health security.

What we learned

Through this project, we gained valuable experience in web development and AI integration, areas where we had little prior knowledge. We learned how to build responsive websites using Mobirise and create AI-driven chatbots with Landbot to improve user interaction. Working with Google Forms, we learned to design and manage multiple forms efficiently and integrate them into our platform. Additionally, we improved our understanding of real-time communication, as well as the importance of user-friendly design and security in healthcare applications. This project greatly enhanced our skills in both technical development and project management.

What's next for Healthify Hub

Next, we plan to expand Healthify Hub by adding integrated payment system, we also would like to add live video calls, and build an app to facilitate accesing healthify services for the students. We also want to integrate AI to help users get matched with the right doctor based on their medical history and preferences. Eventually, we aim to expand our global reach by adding multilingual support and localized payment options.
