Inspiration

I hate wasting time looking all around for various info such as what my BMI is, what the nearest hospital is, etc... To put it simply its a pain in the hind. We created Healthify to solve exactly that problem. We made all the components related to our Healthcare in one easy to use website.

What it does

Healthify is a service website that contains all info about healthcare and allows its users to access it quickly. For now Healthify contains apps that show the nearest hospital, where you need to get treated, the BMI calculator and Hospitals who have good funding and bad funding. These apps are essential to help you take control of your healthcare and do everything in a quick manner.

How we built it

We used html and javascript to build the webpages and we combined them all using href links and visual studio code

Challenges we ran into

One of our teammates dropped out last seconds. A dataset being used for the nearness of hospitals feature had incorrect coordinates. Our team leader came late. Many of our group were unfamiliar with some programming languages being used.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Though the process was rocky, we are proud of the end result off the project.

What we learned

We learned to better prepare ourselves for future hackathons. Programming languages that were previously unknown . Teamwork skills were improved.

What's next for Healthify

We hope to expand Healthify to be globally relevant and accessible so that we can make a difference. We plan to add more features (Hospital wait time search, Hospital capacity search, etc.)
