The increasing need for accessible and personalized healthcare solutions inspired the creation of HealthGenie. The vision was to empower individuals with tools that provide immediate health support, bridge the gap between patients and healthcare professionals, and encourage proactive health management.

What it does

HealthGenie is a comprehensive Virtual Healthcare Companion app designed to offer a range of health-related services, from personalized health advice to virtual consultations. It's built to support users in various aspects of their health journey, including mental well-being, chronic disease management, and medication adherence

How we built it

Frontend: Developed using React Native, offering a seamless and intuitive user experience across devices. Backend: Powered by firebase, integrating Google's Generative AI tools via Gemini's API for AI-driven functionalities. Database: Employed firebase to store user data securely, ensuring efficient data retrieval and management.

Challenges we ran into

AI Integration: Ensuring accurate and reliable AI-generated health advice and diagnoses required rigorous testing and fine-tuning. Data Security: Implementing robust encryption and security measures to protect sensitive user information was paramount. Compliance: Adhering to healthcare regulations like HIPAA while offering virtual consultations and storing medical records demanded meticulous planning and execution
