Inspiration

We wanted to create a platform that allows parents of younger patients to easily fill out medical forms. We created a few features to make it easier for parents of children and health-care providers to navigate the confusing world of having to complete long medical forms.

What it does

Our platform allows parents and healthcare providers to easily input, view, and medical forms. Some key features are auto-filled fields for previously answered questions and customizable forms for providers to send unique questions for individual parents.

How we built it

We built this on the repl.it platform with CSS and HTML.

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult for us to create this project since only one of our team members knew how to use HTML. We were able to overcome this challenge by having the group members to contribute by doing research for the project while also learning basic HTML.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the product we created. Each one of us learned a new skill while working together as a team on this project.

What's next for HealthCare4Kids

We had a few ideas for the future, one of them was to provide notifications to parents when a new form requires their attention, the second one was to allow multiple groups, like adults, to access the platform besides parents with children, and the one was to create a database to store the information since our platform currently does not store any data.
