We built a questionnaire to allow care providers to save time and allow the patients to answer a few questions at their own pace which then gives them a list of tests that they need to get tested for.
Inspiration- One of our team member is a primary care provider and she suggested this solution to save time and allow the patient to take the questionnaire at their own pace.
What it does it do- Our project is a screening tool about health considering people’s age, gender, and other factors. This is to prevent diseases or detect diseases early to prevent worsening. Primary care providers struggle with time constraints while seeing patients or forget to screen some conditions. The purpose of developing this tool is to save primary care providers’ time (physicians or nurse practitioners) when seeing patients, improve care quality, and help patients to know what screening will be discussed before they see their providers.
How we built it- We used VSCode to create our java code, Firestore to store all of our data, and Netbeans to integrate it all together.
Challenges we ran into- We started our code with VSCode but the project crashed when we attempted to integrate Firestore we had to switch over to Apache Netbeans.
Accomplishments that we're proud of- We are proud of the accessibility of our functionality and our design.
What we learned- We learned to work and code together as a team.
