What it does

A private blockchain solution based on the Qtum blockchain integrated with an E-commerce storefront targeted towards small business operators and promoting consumer choice driven incentives.

How I built it

Downloaded, and built Qtum, implemented a smart contract to automatically pay and document how much of the consumer's percentage of a food dollar is going to the agricultural producer, and prototyped integrations with two E-commerce systems.

Challenges I ran into

Finding an odoo plugin and a working Magento plugin that supported bitcoin-rpc proved to be more than could be accomplished in 24 hours.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Writing a 14 line Qtum Solidity contract that worked the first time. Mapping a solution to integrate two extremely important and complex chains - food safety and healthcare outcomes.
