Health Wallet

A health wallet containing a users health records like prescriptions, reports, medical bills, etc, owned by him/her. This ensures health data security. Can also be used for Verifiable Insurance Claim.

Inspiration

Focus on Healthcare has really become crucial, especially in Covid times. Hence there needs to be a way to ensure privacy and confidentiality for patient health records. A person should have the choice to disclose his medical information when they want to.

What it does

It creates a health wallet that is only shared with the verifier (pharmacist, doctor or insurer etc) on the owners consent.

How we built it

It was built using the Affinidi's POC repo with some changes made to the same.

Challenges we ran into

Understanding the APIs that are called and their purpose was a bit challenging.

What's next for Health Wallet

It can be used to prevent identity theft, Verified Insurance claims, etc.
