Inspiration - Corporate wellbeing programs are a win—win in the workplace, where healthier employees are happier, and happier employees are more productive, which leads to corporate financial health.

What it does - Track, enhance and promote the overall physical and mental wellbeing of an individual. Provides an interactive platform to have a healthy lifestyle in today's stressful work environment. System provides the user the ability to check their BMI details along with steps count and calories burned by connecting to various fitness apps. System generates a Health Score which determines the overall well being of the user. The wellness manager can then provide additional support to the users based on the Health Score.

How we built it - The solution was built using the OOTB case management capabilities of Pega v8.7.1. Pega's API connectors were used to integrate with various Fitness Apps. The OOTB dashboard and reporting capability of Pega enabled in creating user specific views.

Challenges we ran into - Dynamically calculating the Health Score, Integrating with various fitness apps, viewing of the consolidated data within the dashboard.

Accomplishments that we're proud of - The overall Health Score feature enables the organization to know how their employees are doing from physical and mental wellbeing perspective without disclosing the responses of the questionnaire filled out by the team members. The interactive nature of the Challenge case type motivates the users to get involved in physical fitness challenges.

What we learned - During these competitive days, its very important to keep ourselves Physically and Mentally fit. We just want to make a difference by providing the organization the ability to keep a close eye on the well being of their employees and help them when they need it the most. What's next for Health Monitoring System - Currently the system is integrated with only Google Fit, the idea is to provide a common interface for all the available health apps. The Challenge case type will be extended to have more interactive challenges. Implementation of Dynamic Health Score Range which can be accommodated as per organization guidelines. Creation of a leader dashboard for the Challenges.
