This is an app that recommends health insurance plans to user that will be the cheapest for them based on their health information and/or answers to a series of questions.

I wanted to create something that people could actually use, and that would solve a real-world problem. So I asked my parents what some of the problems they face in their everyday lives were, and they started talking about health care.

I decided to make a app that would take away the work of trying to find a health insurance plan while trying to navigate the confusing information that health insurance providers give you, all while trying to save the most money.

My app does all this by collecting health information about the user, predicting how they will utilize healthcare and how much it will cost*, and then giving them a list of plans that the app predicts to be cheapest for them.

It has another tool for finding plans which has the user answer a series of questions, with each answer mapped to a different type of plan. After answering all the questions, the app shows the user all the plans that match the types that the questions were mapped to.

I hope to be able to add another feature that allows users to see on-average where certain services, such as blood work, cost the least near them.

For all of these tools, I have yet to find datasets needed to build the AI models for them. This will be my biggest problem in building the app, but I really hope I can make it work. If anyone has any ideas for finding datasets that I can use in my app, please let me know.

*I have not yet made this AI model.
