Inspiration

Our brains are so wired to respond almost instantly to notifications from social media applications. Considering this foundational fact, I thought of leveraging this psychological phenomenon to provide a platform that can seamlessly integrate into the lives of people, providing not just information, but timely communication that can benefit their health such as send reminders when they should take their next dose.

What it does

Health Inquire is a telegram bot that serves as a health encyclopedia and a schedule management tool for health related schedules such as vaccination schedules, & medication routines

How we built it

The bot was built with a Workflow automation platform, n8n and still is under development. It will be integrated further with WhatsApp and All Email service providers

Challenges we ran into

The restrictions to integrating all services as required for the effective operation of the tool posed a formidable hinderance to our progress. For example Gmail couldn't allow me establish user emails as the sender. Because of this if I decided to scale an sell the tool to particular healthcare entities, I would have to rebuild a custom workflow for each entity

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We was able to evade most of the restrictions with relatively effective alternatives. There is still a lot functionality to add, but we have an MVP that can already offer value to a user

What we learned

We were able to realize real-world use cases that we can optimize our tool for, for profit

What's next for Health Inquire

Health Inquire will scale into a full-blown health assistant capable handling healthcare related bills and purchases, monitoring and integrating with a number of infrastructure to preserve the health of a user in a custom manner. For instance if I asthmatic patient was walking towards a smoky area, with Health Inquires integrations, they should be able to receive a warning that will guide on a safer route to take
