Inspiration
It helps people who suffer daily from mental and other health issues.
What it does
Health Hatch is an Android healthcare mobile app focused on helping users understand their symptoms through quizzes and helps people understand their mental and bodily health through information and challenges. It is a clean interface, and its graphical design helps users take quizzes and guides to the answers they need for their mental and bodily health. It relies on certain databases for support of quizzes and user’s information and servers to store and analyze data from users. The quizzes’ results analyze key symptoms and health conditions to make suggestions and recommendations for better health. Furthermore, challenges are given to users to complete to not improve their own well-being, but also be rewarded with the app.
How I built it
I used the Android Programming Studio to create the mobile application.
Challenges I ran into
It was hard to collect and combine the medical databases of current sources of healthcare data and the interactivity of simple mobile applications
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I created Health Hatch Mobile Application and participated successfully 4 day Bloom 2020 Hackathon.
What I learned
I believe what I learn the most is to allocate much more time than what you think you need to create and finish a project of any size. Sometimes there are obstacles in the way that are unforeseeable that take away a decent chunk of time you desperately would need to finish a project.
What's next for Health Hatch Mobile Application.
I would like to do further research on who suffers daily from mental and other health issues and use the results to help them by iterating on mobile application.
