Inspiration

In the modern healthcare landscape, efficient and secure management of patient data is crucial for delivering timely and personalized care. This paper presents MedSure, a Health Data Information and Management System (HDIMS) developed as a mobile application tailored to meet the needs of localized communities such as educational institutions, residential zones, or small urban clusters. The application facilitates seamless integration of patient, doctor, and admin functionalities through a unified platform, enabling secure storage, retrieval, and sharing of health-related data.

The system encompasses a wide array of features including patient registration, appointment booking, electronic prescription handling, emergency response tracking, and real-time communication via chatrooms. A role-based access model ensures data privacy and integrity, granting different access levels to patients, medical professionals, and administrative authorities. Advanced modules integrate machine learning for emergency hospital prediction and symptom analysis, enhancing the application’s decision-support capabilities.

To further promote accessibility and continuity of care, the application supports automated reminders for medication, fitness, and diet plans, alongside e-billing and insurance eligibility tracking. By leveraging Firebase for backend services and Flutter for cross-platform development, the proposed HDIMS ensures scalability, responsiveness, and real-time data synchronization. MedSure represents a step toward smarter, decentralized healthcare systems by bridging the gap between patients and healthcare providers through digital innovation.
