An experimental study was conducted of the new blockchain-based platform for sharing user profile data that allows users to retain control of the sharing, earn digital rewards and enables efficient data sharing among clinicians too. We proposed a platform for user modeling with blockchains that allows users to share data without losing control and ownership of it and applied it to the domain of required Healthcare services. Our new platform provides solution to three important problems: ensuring privacy and user control, and incentives for sharing.

Marketing and Sales:

Would be marketed to Healthcare providers such as Hospitals, Pharmacies, Clinical and/or Research Institute, Laboratories, Insurance Companies and so on.

Progress to Date:

An experimental study of the new blockchain-based platform for sharing user profile data that allows users to retain control of the sharing and earn rewards. It is based on user- controlled privacy and data-sharing policies encoded in smart contracts on privacy-preserving data sharing and management with combination of blockchain and off-blockchain repositories.

Future Milestones:

-Implementing and coding the chain code with Ether Service, and evaluating the usability and usefulness of the approach, and the trust users can have in the system. -Improving the model by studying users' attitudes to data sharing and the incentives they would find attractive for sharing their data.
