Inspiration
We took inspiration from different government schemes to make rural healthcare more reliable. but they are very scattered and not that easy to access.
What it does
To overcome the problem of lack of knowledge and resources we have created a platform connecting the local NGOs and government where you can ask for basic health care facilities like blood donation, medicines, and oxygen cylinders. But that's not the only problem faced, the major problem is that people don't have the right amount of knowledge which is provided to us. We provide them with the right information regarding the most important like sex education, menstruation problems, hygiene, mental health, etc. through podcasts and blogs by doctors and activists. We also provide disease prediction and you can directly ask for help from NGOs and doctors for that disease.
How we built it
We try our best to build it as easy as it can be for anyone so they can build the same platform to overcome this problem as fast as we can. First, we build the backend of this application in Nodejs backend code of health-ce then designed a layout on Figma for the UI and build the frontend accordingly in React-Native frontend of health-ce.
Challenges we ran into
collecting all the information to build a platform like this, keeping the UI as simple as it can be so everyone can access it easily. Dataset for disease prediction and authentic information about the healthcare sector.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This application is a accomplished in itself because it is built to solve a major problem in every 3rd world countries.
What we learned
we learned a lot about problems in healthcare sectors as we explored them and worked with APIs.
What's next for HEALTH-CE
To add a fundraising option and to ensure transparency we will build the fundraising system on blockchain.
