Health Assist

Inspiration

Our inspiration was, the fact that a lot of Ontarians don't have family doctors anymore, causing inconvenience to people when they are sick.

What it does

Patients are able to find available walk in clinics and book doctor's appointment.

How we built it

We built it using React Native, React, MongoDB Atlas, Express.js, Node.js.

Challenges we ran into

We started with swift UI in x code, but the problem was is the IDE that we used to code was too unfamiliar to us. So we decided to use something with more comfortable language.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is the first app that all of us have developed.

What we learned

We learned that no matter the difficulty the learning and making an impact in society is the most important parts of doing project.

What's next for Health Assist

Adding more features to increase capability of accessing more parts of Canada..
