Inspiration
I get my app idea when I saw some people encounter issues with profile management and even misplaced their hardcopy personal health information they written themselves. As a result, they accidentally confused themselves. This happens frequently among people age between middle age to elderly.
What it does
The solution can assist user in manage personal healthcare and explore different health information easily. So that people will not be confused again by disordered management. Moreover, it helps to reduce paper wastage compared to handwritten profile on paper.
How we built it
I develop the mobile app using React-Native, it also consist of JavaScript codes and JavaScript files. The app were tested using Android Studio's emulator. For the app icon, it was created using Adobe Illustrator.
Challenges we ran into
During the development, I ran into programming issues which my app contains error. After conducting investigations, I found that there were some typo with the code, one of the most common reason is Semicolon or Bracket were mistyped. Another challenges I ran into is User Experience design of the mobile app. I am trying my best to ensure the design is neat and easy to see.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am feeling proud of being able to create several features in the app that might be helpful for people to use. Another accomplishments I am proud of is being able to create a clean and proper UI and UX for the mobile app.
What we learned
I learnt many error prevention technique and React-Native development skills when developing the mobile app. I also learn to add the app icon for the app using Android Studio.
What's next for Health Assist
I will publish the mobile app on Google Play Store and Apple App Store when I am ready. After publishing it, I will continue to collect the feedback and improve the mobile app. I hope the mobile app will help users who wants to manage their personal healthcare and health profile.
