Despite advancements in medical technology, many people are still losing their lives due to a critical shortage of available hospital beds. In emergency situations, valuable time is often wasted as ambulances scramble to find an open bed, transferring patients between facilities.Inspired by what happened to my grandmother, who passed away due to delays caused by the lack of available beds,we decided to develop this saving-lives website in order to prevent death and save humanity.

Healtech is a innovative web-based platform that aims to change this. By tapping into real-time data from hospitals, Healtech can instantly locate the nearest available bed that matches a patient's needs. As soon as an emergency call is placed, Healtech's algorithms go to work, automatically contacting local hospitals and identifying the closest open bed. This information is relayed to the ambulance, ensuring the patient is transported directly to the facility that can provide immediate care.

Through this seamless coordination, Healtech has the potential to save countless lives. By eliminating the delays caused by bed shortages, patients can receive essential treatment within the critical golden hour. Healtech puts the power to access life-saving care right at your fingertips, giving you the best chance of survival in an emergency. Building HealTech presented some challenges, particularly because developing the entire website required more time than we had available. However, we managed to create a great prototype using Figma that effectively showcases the website's features and design. Join us in revolutionizing emergency healthcare.
