HeadLine is a location-based micro news app that lets information obsessed socialites on college campuses know exactly what’s going on on their block corner.

We show real-time incidents on a map, such as a student protest or a road closure due to construction. We do this by turning user submissions into a game by voting on which headline is best.

Unlike other news sources, we are designed to be used on the go, as these students walk around campus, and show information in a progressive way: starting with just a headline and revealing more about the story as you swipe.
