Inspiration

One of our team members, working in the nonprofit space, observed the inefficiencies of intake and referral process for service providing orgs. Creating one system that makes the intake on the client side better, as well as the referral and maintenance on the organization/agency side, was the goal.

What it does

caring and trauma informed chat bot converses with client and gathers personal information. when enough info is gathered, they are recommended to services. they may select services and consent for info to be sent. a connection profile will be sent to orgs. on the org side, they have a dashboard of connection profiles they have received; from there they have manage and refer clients.

How we built it

openai API with a carefully tweaked system prompt makes up the chat bot. the rest of the system i dont know because we need to submit in 1 minute and i am not an engineer!

What's next for Headlamp

We are hoping to partner with organizations to build and implement this software. we already have partners in san mateo county, and would love to expand to san francisco.
